I've spent my career doing two things: building companies and building people. And somewhere along the way, I realized those two things are actually the same thing.
I became an entrepreneur because I believed work could be a source of joy — not just a place you showed up, but a place that filled you up. I wanted to build something where passion was the norm, where people came alive in what they did, and where the team around me could accomplish things none of us could have done alone. And that's exactly what happened. Teams that stopped at nothing. People who became powerhouses — inventing things that didn't exist yet, landing deals no one thought possible, achieving more than any of us could have imagined going in. What I've come to understand — after building Smart Destinations and Travelytic, and leading hundreds of leaders through the Remote Leadership Lab — is this: that kind of culture doesn't happen by accident. It starts with the leader. The leaders who change everything aren't necessarily the most experienced in the room. They're the ones who understand the impact they have on the people around them — and who choose to make that impact count.
